Orland Park Police F.O.P. - Lodge 13
The Sgt. Ted Ludes Lodge 13 was established on November 16, 1976. The Lodge name was changed in November of 2006 to Orland Park Police Fraternal Order of Police – Lodge 13 (FOP-13). In March of 2006, with the election of a new Executive Board, an aggressive membership drive was initiated. This effort resulted in the lodge membership more than doubling in size. Currently our Lodge consists of 82 Active Members, 17 Associate Members and 2 Honorary Members.
The FOP-13 members pledge to use honorable means to promote the social and fraternal welfare of our members. The FOP-13 is an organization for sworn police officers and civilian members of the Orland Park Police Department. The FOP-13 is managed by full-time sworn police officers who are actively engaged in law enforcement duties for the Village of Orland Park.
The FOP-13 shall be fraternal, civic, educational, charitable and patriotic. We shall strive to preserve and strengthen comrade among our members, assist members in good standing and their families, promote the interest and welfare of all police officers by the exchange of helpful information and new theories, and instituting and working for legislation designed to aid police officers in the pursuit of their duties. Further, we pledge true allegiance and faith in the laws of the State of Illinois and the Constitution of the United States, while instilling trust in those that we serve.
